You just invented liquid wig, a musical chainsaw for kids, or a desktop firework display. Congratulations, now you have to sell them. The Big Idea (FR) is a hilarious party game where each player combines ordinary cards into completely absurd inventions, then has to convince the rest of the table, like an overconfident salesperson in front of a skeptical crowd, that their idea deserves a reward. Each round, players draw Thing cards and Adjective cards, combine as many as they like in any order, pitch their invention with as much confidence as they can muster, and the group secretly votes for the best one.

You will probably love The Big Idea if you are looking for a party game that is easy to bring out at any gathering, needs zero setup, and rewards humor and nerve over strategy. Once everyone understands the concept, the game runs itself: improvising a sales pitch for something as ridiculous as a "limited edition edible submarine" and cracking up the whole table in the process.

With 214 cards and thousands of possible combinations, no two games of The Big Idea play out the same way. The game leans entirely on player creativity: the weirder the combination, the more memorable the pitch. It is the perfect icebreaker for friends or family, with no downtime and no lengthy rulebook to read through.

The Big Idea was designed by James Ernest, a well-known name in party game design for his irreverent style, with artwork by Stéphane Boutin bringing every Thing and Adjective card in the box to life.
