On a smoke-choked island, a group of disoriented cats has lost every familiar path. Fire is spreading fast, and the only way out is to build a brand new route to the raft before the flames catch up. Race to the Raft is a cooperative tile-laying game and path-building title that turns into a tense, endearing social puzzle. Each turn, the team chooses and places pathway cards to guide the cats while keeping an eye on the fire, represented by tiles that slowly eat away at the island. Success means finding the right balance between stretching the path to rescue more cats and moving fast enough to stay ahead of the flames on the way to the raft. With 81 scenarios to explore, including a gradual tutorial and an advanced mode for seasoned groups, every session brings new challenges and plenty of replay value.

Race to the Raft is for you if you enjoy cooperative games that call for real communication, a bit of planning, and a dash of tension. Whether you play solo or with up to four people around the table, the vibe stays the same: everyone has to think together to save as many cats as possible before the fire seals every exit. Interestingly, many players consider Race to the Raft the spiritual successor to the popular The Isle of Cats, sharing its feline world and part of its creative team. This original, deceptively tricky game comes from designer Frank West, also behind The Isle of Cats, a must-play among cooperative cat-themed games. The illustrations are the work of Miguel Da Silva and Frank West himself, bringing to life this fire-ravaged island and its endearing four-legged heroes.
