Play as Mario, Princess Peach, Yoshi, or Donkey Kong, each with a special ability triggered by a unique Power-up die, completely changing how you attack, move around the board, or swipe coins from your opponents. The boss battles, an original mechanic that replaces long classic rounds, punctuate the game with pure tension, all the way to a final showdown against Bowser. Monopoly Gamer was born from a crossover between two worlds rarely found on the same table: classic board gaming and video games, as Nintendo lent its iconic Super Mario Bros. characters for this edition released in 2017. The concept's success even led to several Power Packs of additional characters (Luigi, Toad, Wario, Rosalina, and more), as well as a well-loved sequel, Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart.

On the design side, Monopoly Gamer carries the signature of the trio Joe Bradford, Ed Gartin, and Austin Rucker, designers well known in the industry for their work on several fast, family-friendly adaptations at Hasbro Gaming.
