EXIT: The Sunken treasure [pré-joué] (EN)
- Low stock - 1 item left
The games in the L'As des jeux Bazar are pre-played games. They have been inspected by one of our game experts and are certified "Complete." You may find some minor imperfections, such as light wear on the box or on certain game components.
EXIT: The Sunken Treasure drops you into the deep, onto the haunted wreck of the Santa Maria, where a legendary treasure has slept for centuries. Your small cooperative team dives in to explore the wreck, but everything goes wrong: the water rises, a door slams shut, and all that is left to do is search the time-worn hull for a way out. Like every escape game in the EXIT series, the rules never reveal everything up front: it is up to your team to figure out how the room unfolds, where the clues are hiding, and how to read them. The decoder disc, the riddle cards, and the strange items pulled from the wreck (a gold coin, a mast, gems) become your only tools for cracking the mystery of the shipwreck. Each solution you find unlocks the next, and the faster you move, using as few hints as possible, the higher your final score climbs. This adventure is played only once, since you mark up, fold, and tear the materials as you go.
EXIT: The Sunken Treasure is for you if you enjoy puzzling things out with a small group, love a moody atmosphere, and get a kick out of cracking one riddle after another without knowing what's coming next. It is also a great pick if you are new to at-home escape games: this box's beginner level eases you in before you tackle trickier riddles elsewhere in the series.
Starting with season 3, the EXIT series sorts its boxes by difficulty, and The Sunken Treasure sits at the beginner tier (2 out of 5), a great entry point if you have never tried an at-home escape game before. More than 7,500 copies are logged in collections on BoardGameGeek, a sign of just how popular this underwater sunken treasure hunt has become.
Inka and Markus Brand, the German duo behind the entire EXIT series, designed this dive toward the Santa Maria. The underwater artwork is credited to Silvia Christoph, Michaela Kienle, and Michael Menzel.
