Paris is burning on Bastille Day when the dead climb back to their feet in the middle of the celebration. Zombicide: PariZ (FR) is the campaign co-op expansion for Zombicide (2nd Edition) that drops your survivors into the City of Light turned into a walking nightmare. Between streets lit by fireworks and the pitch-black catacombs running underneath the city, ten linked missions build a real campaign where every choice echoes into the next one. Six new survivors cross paths with a mysterious stranger who might hold the key to stopping the outbreak, while a deranged billionaire sees the end of the world as a business opportunity. On the boulevards, a clock ticks from day into night and changes how the Parisian zombies behave as the light fades; deep in the catacombs, it is the lights themselves that can go out without warning. Climb the Eiffel Tower for a sniper's vantage point, watch out for trees that lure the undead, and keep an eye on Marie Antoinette: this particular walker carries her own severed head under her arm and doubles as an extra spawn point thanks to a guillotine token, making her a top priority the moment she shows up.

You will probably love PariZ if you have already cleared the streets in the base Zombicide game and you are ready for a new campaign that pushes the atmosphere and the story further. Groups who love feeling the tension rise mission after mission, fans of Parisian history twisted into a zombie tale, and collectors who want to grow their horde of miniatures will all be happy. If you do not own the base game yet, keep in mind that this box is an add-on, not a starting point.

Fun fact: the Marie Antoinette zombie in PariZ literally carries her own head under her arm and acts as a mobile spawn point thanks to a guillotine token, a pretty direct nod to the history of the French capital. The expansion also introduces a day and night cycle that is new for the series, changing how the undead behave depending on the time, on top of new Parisian-themed items like croissants and baguettes tucked into the survivors' gear.

The campaign is credited to the design team of Fel Barros, Toi von Glehn, Rodrigo Sonnesso, and Fabio Tola, who know the Zombicide universe and its rules inside out after developing several of its expansions.

Like every expansion in the line, PariZ requires the base game Zombicide (2nd Edition) to be played: the figures, cards, and tiles from this box add to the original set but do not replace its core rules.
