Mountain Goats: Legacy turns the classic Mountain Goats dice game into a true family saga, in a box that evolves session after session. Each turn, you roll and combine dice to climb as high up the mountain as you can: watch your step, because a fall means losing your spot at the top! A goat symbol on the dice triggers unique powers that change with every mission of the campaign. A brand new Courage system then helps you tame the luck of the dice and plan your rolls more carefully, while the mountain itself keeps shifting under your hooves: rockslides, icy steps, an avalanche, a river, and even a yeti make the climb tougher. The best part: this Legacy campaign can be played once as a simple standalone game, then turn into a fully replayable, fully resettable adventure. Unlike most Legacy games, no component is ever torn up or destroyed: you can relive the saga again and again, with different groups.

This sequel carries the signature of Stefan Risthaus, already behind the original Mountain Goats, this time joined by Alex Cutler and Michael Mihealsick to build out the Legacy storyline. The lively artwork comes from Sandara Tang, who gives all their character to this band of mountain-climbing goats.
