*French version
Under its bright, colorful cards, Wapigo (FR) hides an arena crowded with animals in every shade: flamingos, elk, mouflons and salamanders are just waiting for a sharp enough eye to give up their secret. In this high-energy party game, players race to spot, before anyone else, the target letter that opens the way to the right cards in the arena. The idea clicks instantly: an active card and the back of the draw pile combine a color and a number to reveal the clue you need to decode. In beginner mode, you simply match a color to the first letter of the animal's name. Intermediate mode adds a number that points to the exact position of the letter you're after, while advanced mode blends both systems, alternating letters and numbers and forcing everyone to adjust their thinking on the fly. As soon as the target letter is uncovered, every player dives in at the same time to grab the arena cards that contain it, and a wrong grab means putting a card back into play, rewarding precision just as much as speed. Cards keep moving between the draw pile, the active card and the arena, constantly refreshing the possible combinations, until the draw pile finally runs dry. Whoever has collected the most cards then wins the round.
Wapigo is for you if you love games that run on observation and adrenaline, where every second counts and you have to juggle several clues at once without losing track. Its three difficulty levels also make it a smart pick for family game night: younger players can practice with colors, while fans of reflex games can chase the challenge of advanced mode to really put their brains to work.
Freshly released in 2026, Wapigo is designed by Tessa Paradis and Jade Tremblay, the duo from Saguenay behind Totem, the Feel Good Game, a hit that already travels to more than 33 countries. With Wapigo, the two creators swap deep conversation for the rush of a speed game, and their team also illustrated its lively, colorful cast of animals. If you enjoyed the connection-filled evenings of Totem, the Feel Good Game, Wapigo brings a whole new round of laughter and friendly tension to the table.
