Unsettled (FR) takes players deep into the most mysterious corners of known space, where every planet seems to challenge the very laws of science. Lost in bizarre and awe-inspiring cosmic regions, the crew must work together to survive and gather the resources necessary to continue their impossible journey home. There are no armies to defeat and no traditional combat encounters. The true threat comes from the environment itself: alien phenomena beyond comprehension, hostile ecosystems, and lifeforms unlike anything humanity has ever encountered.

Every session of Unsettled delivers a completely different adventure through its modular system and evolving survival objectives. Players know the problems they must solve - repairing ship systems, restoring food supplies, stabilizing critical equipment - but they have no idea how the strange worlds around them might help or destroy them. This creates a constant feeling of discovery and uncertainty where every interaction with the environment becomes both exciting and dangerous. Players must experiment, communicate, and improvise in order to harness the bizarre properties of alien materials and phenomena they encounter.

The core set includes two dramatically different planets. Wenora is a living fungal jungle filled with toxic spores, pulsating vegetation, and massive organic creatures that make exploration feel almost surreal. Grakkis, by contrast, transports players into the petrified remains of a colossal ancient forest buried beneath endless desert storms and wandering alien giants. Each planet introduces completely unique mechanics, environmental systems, resources, and events, creating two entirely distinct experiences within the same cooperative survival game framework.

Instead of fighting enemies, players struggle against hostile environments and existential uncertainty itself, creating a unique form of scientific survival rarely explored in tabletop gaming. Its atmosphere evokes both classic hard science-fiction and more surreal, philosophical visions of deep space exploration.

The game was designed by Tom Mattson and Marc Neidlinger, with artwork by Bartek Fedyczak and Krista Zimmerman. The artistic direction combines cosmic beauty, biological strangeness, and subtle existential horror to create a visually unforgettable science-fiction universe.
