The games in the L'As des jeux Bazar are pre-played games. They have been inspected by one of our game experts and are certified "Complete." You may find some minor imperfections, such as light wear on the box or on certain game components.

Toil & Troublez sweeps you into an enchanted forest on a spellbinding witching hour, where toads, flowers, crystals, mushrooms and ravens suddenly turn into powerful talismans. Each turn, you draw a card and decide whether to place it in the Enchanted Forest or stop there: the more you push your luck, the bigger your haul can grow, but so does the risk of losing it all. The Master Magicians (Vanish, Summon, Poison and Cloak) keep shaking things up, making you drop a talisman, letting you steal one from a rival, or hiding what lies beneath their cloak. The goal: gather complete talisman collections to rack up the most Magic Marks and become the greatest magician at the table.

Toil & Troublez is for you if you love fast card games full of twists, where every draw can flip the game on its head. If you're the type who enjoys family game nights, you'll love weighing whether to push your luck for one more card, knowing a single Master Magician can turn the tables in an instant. It's easy to learn but keeps everyone on the edge of their seat until the very last card.

Fun fact: Toil & Troublez isn't a brand new concept from scratch. It reuses the system of Troublez (also known as ZombieZ), a Czech zombie-themed game by the same designer, here fully reworked with a witchy, enchanted-forest vibe that's perfect for the Halloween season.

The game is designed by Czech game designer Petr Vojtěch, also behind Troublez, with charming illustrations by Apryl Stott that bring the toads, ravens and other enchanted forest creatures to life.
