Nobody at the table is allowed to say a word about their cards. Yet the whole gang has to read each other almost telepathically. The Gang (FR) is a cooperative poker card game based on Texas Hold'em: each player is dealt two personal cards, then community cards are revealed one by one in the middle of the table. As your hand takes shape, you have to judge how strong it is... without ever saying so out loud. To rank yourselves against each other, you silently trade numbered chips, watching for hesitation, glances, and small tells from your accomplices. If everyone ranks their hand correctly, a vault pops open. If not, the alarm goes off. Crack three vaults before setting off three alarms and your heist is a success. There is no bluffing here: silent coordination is your only weapon.

The Gang was designed by John Cooper and Kory Heath, two designers well known in the Looney Pyramids scene, including the classic deduction game Zendo. Their knack for clean mechanics shows here: the rules take just minutes to learn, but the strategic depth is real. To recruit even more accomplices, the French-language expansion The Gang - ext. Gangsters Supplementaires (FR) lets up to 10 gangsters play around the same table.
