The captain is dead - again. In The Captain is Dead - Dangerous Planet, the crew that escaped Lockdown has just been assigned a third captain for their very first mission. Destination: the surface of an abandoned alien planet, rumored to hide relics that could explain why the alien empire despises Spacefleet so fiercely. Ever diplomatic, the new captain tries to talk things out with a swarm of giant bugs... who respond by biting his head clean off. Captainless once again, the crew must finish the mission alone: explore a tunnel system, recover the relics, and hold off the bug swarm before the shuttlecraft is overrun.

This cooperative game reinvents the mechanisms of the Captain is Dead series through exploration and area defense. The tunnel board is modular, letting you dial the difficulty up or down from one mission to the next and keep every session feeling fresh. Each player controls a crew member with unique abilities, and teamwork often makes the difference between a heroic escape and a total loss to the bugs.
