Help, Wombat Tower is under attack! Invaders are advancing along four paths and threatening the tower itself. There is no way you can let them through. In this cooperative game, everyone fights on the same team with one objective: completely clear the board of enemies before the tower's defences collapse.

On your turn, start by studying the battlefield with your teammates. Which path represents the greatest threat? Which enemies should you eliminate first? Once you have selected your target, rotate the tower toward that path, then use it to roll the special die and try to physically knock the enemy pawns down. Wombat Tower combines group decision-making with a dexterity game challenge because choosing the right target is only half the battle: you still have to land the shot!

After your attack, the result of the die can completely change the situation. Some effects bring new Attackers into play or move them closer to the tower, while others provide access to Machine cards. These Machines give you special attacks and change the way the die is used. Every turn can therefore begin with a carefully discussed plan and end with an entirely new emergency for the team to handle.

Not every Attacker presents the same threat. Soldiers advance toward the tower, while Bosses are even more dangerous because they can cause other enemies to surge forward. You need to monitor all four lanes simultaneously and decide together where to concentrate your efforts. This combination of dexterity and strategy creates playful tension where a spectacular roll can save the day, while a less precise attack can leave the wombats in serious trouble.

The tower has three Shields protecting it from the invasion. Whenever an enemy needs to be placed or advanced but its lane is already full, a Shield is broken. If the third Shield breaks, the entire team immediately loses. To win, you must instead eliminate every Attacker from the board. For defenders who find the regular mission too easy, a heroic variant increases the challenge by placing additional enemies into play during setup.

Wombat Tower is for you if you want a lively family game where children and adults can genuinely work together. Decisions are shared, but each attack also depends on the dexterity of the player handling the die. That combination creates exciting moments everyone can celebrate together. With games lasting approximately 15 minutes and support for solo play or groups of up to four, it is easy to demand a rematch after a heroic defence... or a disastrous invasion.

One of Wombat Tower's most distinctive features is that its three-dimensional tower is much more than decoration. It is a central part of the mechanism: players rotate it toward the lane they want to defend before using it for their attacks. The game therefore turns a traditional die roll into a physical action on the board, giving this kids' board game an especially tactile presence on the table.

Wombat Tower was designed by Antonin Boccara and Romaric Galonnier and illustrated by GYOM. The two designers have also collaborated on La Fabrique à Rêves and the Mon Puzzle Aventure series. Published by Blue Orange, Wombat Tower combines their family-friendly approach with a physical mechanism that brings cooperation, observation, and precision together around the tower.
