Taco vs Burrito (EN)

Picture a 7-year-old kid who, during a family game night, ends up inventing one of the most devoured card games of his generation: that is exactly the story behind Taco vs Burrito, a hilariously chaotic culinary duel. On your turn, you draw a card and choose: add a wild ingredient to your taco or burrito, slip a Tummy Aches card onto an opponent's plate to tank their score, or unleash a Hot Sauce Boss card to double a meal's value. Watch out for the Health Inspector and Order Envy, two cards that can wreck a perfectly good meal in no time! As soon as the draw pile runs dry, the round ends immediately and whoever built the tastiest (or grossest, as long as it scores points) meal wins.
Taco vs Burrito is for you if you love quick party games you can pull out anywhere, if absurd food humor and ridiculous ingredient combos make you laugh, and if you are looking for a simple way to get kids and adults laughing together in just a few minutes.
Fun fact: this game was not dreamed up by a seasoned design studio - it was invented in 2018 by a 7-year-old kid who did not even like tacos or burritos at the time! Launched through crowdfunding, it went on to sell over a million copies and won the NAPPA Awards in 2021, cementing its place as a must-have kids card game.
Young Alex Butler came up with this wonderfully wacky concept with his family, then spent months fine-tuning the rules into the version you can play today.
