Skulls of Sedlec: Essential Collection gathers the original card game Skulls of Sedlec along with several expansions in a single comprehensive edition. Inspired by the real Sedlec Ossuary in the Czech Republic, the game places players in a darkly humorous historical setting.

In this strategic board game, players take on the roles of novice monks assisting a half-blind Bone Collector. Their task is to exhume graves and carefully arrange skulls inside the crypt according to the wishes of the deceased.

During the game, players reveal cards from the graveyard, draft skulls into their hand, and build their own stack of cards. Each skull type has unique scoring conditions, encouraging players to create clever patterns and combinations.

The game blends open drafting, pattern building and set collection mechanics into a fast but thoughtful experience. While easy to learn, the scoring conditions create interesting tactical choices in every round.
