Welcome to the kingdom of Siam, once a true paradise where elephants and rhinoceroses lived side by side for centuries. Then the earth shook, and the territory shrank to three valleys ringed by towering mountains. Ever since, these two proud, powerful species have battled endlessly to control what little ground remains. On a gridded board, five elephants and five rhinos advance, retreat, turn, and above all push three rocks, hoping to knock one clean off the board. But beware of rushing in: to push back an animal facing you, you need numerical superiority, two beasts to move one, three to move two. Every move must be weighed and every push calculated, because a single misstep can cost you the game. Siam is a pure abstract strategy game: no dice, no cards, only your ability to read the board and anticipate your opponent's intentions.

The game is designed by Didier Dhorbait, with artwork by Biboun. His push-by-numbers mechanic, as simple as it is clever, has made Siam a reference point in abstract strategy for two decades, standing alongside classics like chess or go.
