In Schotten Totten 2, the two adversaries are now opposed for the capture of a Castle. The attacker and the defender must prove their superiority on the locations of the walls. But this time, each player has different goals and their own victory conditions!

Real novelty of Schotten Totten 2, the asymmetry makes it possible to upset the feelings of game. Indeed, the conditions of victory are from now on different on both sides of the wall. Only the attacker can claim a tile, the defender has only the option of preventing it. And if the defender has three cauldrons of boiling oil allowing him to discard an opponent's card, the attacker has the possibility of retreating on certain tiles in order to later come back in force. In short, 2 very distinct roles, each with its own objective and offering very different game sensations!

Tactics and boiling oil

Schotten Totten 2 obviously takes up the mechanics of its illustrious elder, that is to say card poses to obtain the majority in specific areas. Each card combination allows you to claim superiority on the wall, but beware: here too, everything changes! Indeed, each wall is now specific and the players are therefore imposed pose constraints to obtain the majority! A subtlety that adds a lot of variety to the game and multiplies the possible approaches.

This contribution therefore forces the assailant to make more marked choices depending on the cards in his hand. The attacker wins if he manages to damage 4 Walls, or create a breach on a damaged tile.

Reinforced by its new asymmetrical dimension, Schotten Totten 2 offers a much denser game which naturally invites you to chain games by alternating roles. More tactical and more intense, it invites confrontations of a new type while remaining faithful to its illustrious heritage.
