Salton Sea is a unique location in California, near the border with Mexico. The characteristics of this salt lake make it a unique place to produce geothermal energy, which harnesses the planet's heat. In this area of ​​intense geothermal activity, you will drill into the ground and extract steam and hot water to obtain lithium and sell it as part of a modern industry, far removed from fossil fuels, which will allow you to lead the energy transition to a fully renewable future.

Salton Sea can be played alone or with up to four players, with games lasting approximately two hours. Throughout the game, players must manage their geothermal lithium mining businesses to earn the highest number of points. Extracting and processing this material will be the driving force behind your businesses.

On your turn, place one of your four engineers on one of the available spaces to perform an action. It's up to you to manage your engineers at each stage of the game to get the most out of your company. However, there is no single path to success. The game will reward you for depleted land, completed contracts, short-term goals, company development, or research progress.
