Revenant: Ext. Raison & Foi (FR)
- In stock, ready to ship
*French version
As the Revenant and its fleet flee the ruins of a galaxy devoured by the Voidborn, humanity's survival will no longer depend on ships and weapons alone. The Reason and Faith expansion for Revenant (FR) adds two independent modules to the base experience. The Reason module introduces Science Vessels, a new ship type that unlocks, through astrolabes, powerful scientific advantages that last the whole game. The Faith module brings Paradigm cards into play, heavy collective dilemmas that divide the Great Houses and dramatically alter the course of the campaign. Both modules can be played separately or together, to renew every crossing of the galaxy.
Revenant: Reason and Faith is for you if you have already tasted the tension of the sci-fi board game Revenant and want to push your management of the Great Houses even further. This expansion will appeal to players who love tough dilemmas, long-term scientific research, and campaigns that never play out the same way twice.
The base game Revenant was very well received by the gaming community, with an average rating close to 8 out of 10 and over 700 ratings. Right out of the gate, the Reason and Faith expansion is already gathering equally enthusiastic reviews, averaging around 7.7 out of 10 among early players. Another detail solo fans will love: the Reason module already includes a tile dedicated to the base game's solo mode, so you can keep exploring on your own from day one.
This expansion is signed by Allan Kirkeby, the creator of the Revenant universe, joined by designer Robin Hegedus for this new set of modules. The artwork is once again handled by Ian O'Toole, whose style is also recognizable on games like Teotihuacan and Barrage.
To play this expansion, you absolutely need the Revenant base game, sold separately: the Reason and Faith modules do not work on their own and are meant to enrich a game of Revenant that is already being set up.
