Battle horns echo from fjord to fjord: the time for conquest has come. In Red North, you lead a Norse warband, sending raiders, jarls and heroes to seize the outposts of the North. Every card you deploy reveals a little of your plan, because the more warriors you commit to an outpost, the more you show your hand to the table. The whole thrill of this bluffing game lies in that tension: knowing when to press your attack and when to pull back to keep a hand strong enough for the decisive round.

Resources are scarce and every decision counts. The game builds to Ragnarok, an explosive final round where the Norse gods themselves tip the scales. Fast, nervy and fiercely tactical, this hidden-information card game plays in about thirty minutes and begs to be replayed.

It was among the notable releases of Essen Spiel 2025. The game is designed by James Dickinson, with evocative art by Giacomo Vichi that steeps the table in a raw, epic Norse atmosphere.
