Recall is a deep strategy board game from the designers of Revive, blending exploration, resource management, and engine building into a highly rewarding experience. Leading a unique tribe, players venture across unexplored lands, uncover forgotten knowledge, and shape the future of their civilization through meaningful decisions and long-term planning.

Each player begins with one of fourteen asymmetric tribes and one of eighteen unique gadgets. These starting combinations dramatically influence strategic possibilities and encourage a wide variety of play styles. On each turn, players either use key cards to activate action spaces or perform a Recall action to recover resources and prepare future turns. The interaction between key cards and action spaces creates powerful combinations and satisfying strategic depth.

As the game progresses, players expand across new territories, construct workshops, vaults, and monuments, upgrade their abilities, and collect relics from long-lost civilizations. Excavation sites play a central role, allowing players to uncover traces of ancient cultures and gain access to their technologies, abilities, and scoring opportunities.

One of Recall's most innovative features is its optional digital companion system. Recall was designed by Helge Meissner, Kristian Amundsen Østby, Kjetil Svendsen, and Anna Wermlund. The first three designers are also known for Revive, one of the most acclaimed strategy games of recent years.
