RA Traders Expansion (EN)

With Ra: Traders, the classic auction game designed by Reiner Knizia expands into a whole new direction: river trade. This expansion adds docks along the Nile and new tiles that let you send vessels out to bring back valuable goods and grow your dynasty.

Each turn, in addition to bidding on monuments, civilizations, and Nile floods, you can now dock at one of five Docks boards to bring back Trader tiles: small one-value goods crates or larger five-value crates. Gather enough goods and trade them in for ten-value scoring tablets, adding a brand new scoring path to track during the auctions.

Ra: Traders is for you if you already own the base game and want to spice up your sessions with a new way to score points. This expansion is great for fans of tense auctions who enjoy having one more thing to calculate and watch for at the docks as closely as the Sun Boat.

Fun fact: The original Ra game was inducted into the BoardGameGeek Hall of Fame in 2025, an honor reserved for the most influential titles in board game history.

This expansion is designed by Reiner Knizia, the creator of the original Ra and other classics such as Medici, Modern Art, Samurai, and Tigris & Euphrates. The artwork comes from Ian O'Toole, known for his work on Lisboa, The Gallerist, and Weather Machine.

A copy of the base game Ra is required to play this expansion, which does not work as a stand-alone game.
