My First Unlock! - Frog Stories / Mon Premier Unlock! - Histoires de Grenouille (ML)
- In stock, ready to ship
Fern the Frog is a young frog in search of adventure. She has studied the ocean and its marine creatures in books, and dreams of leaving her pond to set off on an expedition aboard her grandfather's boat. With My First Unlock! - Frog Stories, your child becomes her partner in a cooperative game for kids adapted from the famous mystery game Unlock!, designed for little ones and playable without an app. Look carefully at the cards that form a landscape and match the half-symbols you can see using the Fern token to move the story forward. Each revealed card expands the landscape and offers new clues. Three adventures each play out as a series of missions to complete in order: Fern to the Rescue, Fern on Desert Island and Fern and the Pirate's Treasure. To win, you need to connect all the missions in the right order; look carefully at the cards to find the solutions and you may discover some surprises! Screen-free and text-free, with simple rules and short games that suit young children's attention spans, it is a lovely way to discover puzzle games from age 4. The slipcase box also serves as a game board, and its compact size makes it easy to carry and handle.
My First Unlock! - Frog Stories is for you if you want to introduce your child to cooperative games and visual puzzles with no text to read and no screen to watch. You will probably enjoy this game if your little explorer loves to observe, compare and point out the right symbols, if you enjoyed Bernard the Duck's stories in the previous box, or if you are looking for a 15-minute activity to share with others, or even to play solo.
This second box in the My First Unlock! line follows the adventures of Bernard the Duck and keeps the principle of the Unlock! series, but designed for the youngest players. The young-audience adaptation is by Wilfried Fort and Marie Fort, with illustrations by Olivier Danchin.
