From the walls of Edinburgh to the docks of Constantinople, from Lisbon to Moscow, Les Aventuriers du Rail Europe (FR) takes you on a grand railway journey across turn-of-the-century Europe. This Refresh edition brings back the beloved train game. On your turn, you draw Train cards, collect them by color and place your plastic trains to connect the cities on your Destination tickets. The goal is simple: complete your secret routes and build the longest path. You can learn the game in just a few minutes, and the tension rises with every turn.

This game adds some great twists to the Ticket to Ride formula. Tunnels may require extra cards, ferries call for locomotives, and stations let you use an opponent's route to connect your cities, at the cost of a few points. Every decision counts, since an unfinished ticket costs you points. This family board game is complete and standalone: no other box from the series is required.

Les Aventuriers du Rail Europe is for you if you enjoy train games that are easy to teach but rich in choices, if you want a game to share with family or friends, or if you are looking for a gateway game that will also please experienced players. You will probably enjoy the tension of blocking an opponent's route at the last moment.

The original game, released in 2005, won the Arets Spill award for best family game in 2006 and was also honored at the 2005 International Gamers Awards (General Strategy, Multi-player). It started one of the most popular family game series in the world.

The game was designed by Alan R. Moon, the author of the Ticket to Ride series. The original edition's artwork is by Julien Delval and Cyrille Daujean.
