In Minikin City, every card you play has a double meaning. Its color and value earn you rewards each round, while its icons and effect score you points at the end of the game... but only if you have filled the card with Minikins! These adorable little residents are the key to your city.

In the center of the table, the Reward cards reveal the best color of the round. The cards played determine the players' ranking. The choice is yours: play a high-value card in the best color to claim the most powerful reward, bet on a card whose effect you like, or pull off both at once. Many effects and rewards give you Minikins to place on your cards, and only the completed cards activate their final scoring. This card game of light strategy plays in about thirty minutes and has you build a cute and well-planned city, trick after trick.

Minikin City is for you if you love card games where every decision matters, if you enjoy planning puzzles that stay accessible from age 10, or if you are looking for an original tableau-building game that stands out from the usual trick-taking games.

The game is designed by Simone Luciani and Matthieu Verdier, with illustrations by Kerri Aitken. Simone Luciani is also the designer of Barrage and Grand Austria Hotel, two well-known games among strategy fans. Here, he offers a much lighter experience, with a reinvented trick-taking mechanism.
