In Lumen: The Lost World (FR), two rival civilizations battle across a mysterious realm where all seasons coexist within a fractured world filled with ancient energy known as Lumens. In this intense two-player strategy game, the People of the Day and the People of the Night fight endlessly for control of territories and precious sources of power.

The game brilliantly combines roll-and-write mechanics, tactical movement, and territory control into a fast-paced strategic duel. During each round, players roll dice and decide how to combine the results in order to recruit fighters, move troops, and activate special faction abilities.

Every movement across the modular board reveals Discovery tokens that provide bonus actions, additional Lumens, or strategic advantages. This constant exploration creates an engaging progression system where each decision directly impacts battlefield control.

Both factions evolve throughout the game by unlocking unique abilities and recruiting specialized mercenaries. This strategic development allows players to adapt their approach depending on the scenario and the opportunities available during the battle.

Lumen: The Lost World succeeds at transforming accessible mechanics into an extremely tense and tactical experience. Every dice choice becomes meaningful as players constantly balance expansion, defense, and resource optimization.

The game includes seven unique scenarios that alter objectives, board layouts, and special rules. This variety greatly increases replayability and ensures that every confrontation between the two factions feels different.
