Players travel down the Nile, placing boats as they go, to collect resources that will help them build some of Egypt's most famous landmarks. With new monuments to build, new cards to collect and an ever-changing river.

In this new edition, players each have the opportunity to build a new monument through the colonnade. The more columns you build, the more powers you unlock to help you on the river. Once per turn, you may be able to place boats on occupied spaces in the river or upstream, or earn an extra point each time you place bricks in monuments. With rewards chosen randomly from game to game, the Colonnade is a dynamic new monument that shakes up traditional gameplay.

Beneath the colonnade, where the tombs once stood, are the mysterious statues - a new monument unlike anything else in Egizia. These tiny construction sites are cheaper than any other monument, but they offer high reward potential if you meet their requirements. Players should plan early as they can only place one brick in a statue per turn, and each level they build has more stringent requirements for endgame bonuses.
