We have rented a 12,000 sq ft indoor space to welcome you RAIN OR SHINE! 
Again this year, you will have the opportunity to purchase an additional item at a low price to donate to local organizations that care about youth and families.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS 2026 REVEALED!

As part of our MEGA Garage Sale L'As des jeux which will take place from May 8 to 10, 2026, we are collecting donations for community organizations that look after the well-being of children and young people. This year, these 9 organizations have agreed to receive games to benefit their participants, young and old:


At the garage sale, you are invited to purchase an additional low-priced item to donate. Last year, thanks to your enormous generosity, we were able to donate more than $35,000 worth of games and toys to organizations that make a real difference in our community. What are the dates and opening hours?

Friday, May 8: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, May 9: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, May 10: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Is there parking available?

Yes! There are free parking spaces around the mall. The closest entrance to the sale is the one located at the front, on the right (SAQ in front or Dollorama on the side).

Is it possible to get there by bus?

Yes! The nearest STO stops are:

What payment methods are accepted?

Cash, debit, Visa and Mastercard. You can use an L'As des jeux gift card and/or your loyalty points. The Dandelion gift card is also accepted!

I have a 10% coupon, can I use it?
No. Discounts cannot be combined with any other offer.

Are the items on sale used?
No. These are all new items on discount. The garage sale started in 2022, outdoors, on a few tables next to the Gatineau store and quickly evolved! The name 'garage sale' remained but it's much more than that!

Are the discounts really worth the trip?

Although we think our good mood and smiles are always worth the trip, we can proudly say that YES... The discounts you'll find at the MEGA garage sale are pretty unbeatable! You'll find between 10% and 80% off the suggested retail price on all items! Many take the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping. Just saying...

Will there be puzzles?
Oh yes! There is a VERY nice selection of puzzles at low prices!

Is there a list of items that will be on sale available somewhere?

No. Everything will be unveiled on the first day of the sale! The selection is huge! Games for children, toys, crafts, family games, strategy games, party games, puzzles... There's something for everyone! And what about the discounts... WOW!

Are children welcome?

ABSOLUTELY!

I have a baby in a stroller, should I bring a baby carrier?

It depends on your preference. The aisles are wide enough for a stroller; there may be periods with higher traffic. In any case, babies are welcome!

Will there be food trucks again this year?

There are no food trucks this year. You can grab a bite at the Canevas space at La Petite Soif, Charlotte Macarons or Happy Goat.

Will the event take place even if it rains?
Unlike a traditional 'garage sale', our event takes place indoors. We are open even if it rains.

How does the donation collection work? Is it mandatory?
This year, we have selected 9 community organizations that care for the well-being of young people in Outaouais. Only if you wish, you can purchase an additional item at a low price that we will donate to the organizations after the sale. The 2026 organizations are:

This type of event can attract a long waiting line outside, what should I expect?

It's difficult to predict attendance... However! We have a VERY large venue with the capacity to accommodate a large number of customers. We are open 3 days, which helps to avoid a high concentration of customers in a short time. We had little waiting in 2025, and that was mainly in the morning before opening.

Are returns accepted?

No. All transactions are final sale.

I'm coming from out of town for the garage sale! Where should I stay?

We have a partner hotel for the event: Hotel V which is located 2 minutes from L'As des jeux and Pärlē - Bistro ludique. You can call (819) 243-8586 to book. Hotel V is located less than 10 minutes from the garage sale.
NEW: Hotel V is offering us a room for 'gamers' all weekend. A place where players can meet, have a drink, discover new games, and make new acquaintances! OMG! It's going to be so much fun!

I heard that 2026 would be the most MEGA of all MEGA L'As des jeux garage sales. Is that true?
IT IS TRUE! We have created the Experts' Hall where our distributors will be there to chat with you, present you with hot new products, and some of their favorites. Oh, there's also the Proto Zone...
What is the Proto Zone?
You'll have the chance to take a shopping break and meet game designers who want to introduce you to their games at different stages of creation. It's an opportunity to discover new things, share your impressions, and chat with designers. This project is headed by Hugo Leblanc, owner of G1IDgames and creator of the game Trigger Warning.
You'll also have the chance to chat with Guillaume from Ruse Games, Roberto from Rock, Stone and Dice Games, and Martin-Andrew from Nostalgi, as well as to talk with personalities from the industry...
Industry personalities? Like who?
On Friday and Saturday, we will have the pleasure of welcoming:
Will there be activities on Sunday too?
No. Sunday will be for sales only (there is usually a huge selection of items left on Sunday too). So there will be no proto zone, experts' hall, or industry personalities on Sunday.

Anything else I should know?

We HIGHLY recommend bringing reusable bags for your purchases! People often leave with more items than expected (ask past customers!!), and we have a limited quantity of boxes we can provide for your purchases.

It's possible that our communication via social media, email, etc., may be slower than usual during the MEGA garage sale. All our colleagues will be busy with the sale in one role or another. We thank you for your understanding.
