In Unmatched Adventures: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you dive straight into the iconic New York sewers to experience a fast, high-energy cooperative battle game. Taking control of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo, the four Ninja Turtles, you face off against a fully game-controlled villain: Shredder or Krang, each backed by their own minions and their own threat board. Each turtle wields an asymmetric deck of cards, with unique attacks, dodges and special abilities, while the villain follows a script that evolves and adapts as the game unfolds, almost like a built-in artificial intelligence. Battles take place on a double-sided board directly inspired by the look of the franchise's iconic animated series, with detailed miniatures for every hero and villain. The game reuses the proven combat engine of the Unmatched series, known for its fast tactical duels where every card played can flip the outcome of the fight, while adding a fully cooperative twist: the whole team has to work together to take down the boss before its threat deck runs out.

Unmatched Adventures TMNT is for you if you've always been a Ninja Turtles fan and have dreamed of fighting alongside Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo against their universe's biggest villains. It will also appeal to anyone who loves tight tactical showdowns, asymmetric decks, and games that play just as well solo as they do with a full group of up to four players, without ever dragging on.

This second entry in the Unmatched Adventures series was nominated for a 2026 Golden Geek Award in the Cooperative Game category, confirming the excitement around this mashup of the Ninja Turtles and Unmatched's asymmetric combat system. A standalone expansion, the Shredder & Krang Hero Deck, even lets you play these two villains as fully playable heroes, and is sold separately.

The game was designed by a team led by Rob Daviau, creator of the entire Unmatched series and well known for Pandemic Legacy and Risk Legacy, alongside Noah Cohen, Jason Hager, Justin D. Jacobson, Jason and Justin Kemppainen, Brian Neff and Darren Reckner. The art brings an especially strong signature: Kevin Eastman, original co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic, personally contributed artwork, alongside Kwanchai Moriya, Brian Patterson and Oliver Barrett, among others.
