Merchants of the Dark Road takes you to the city of Lumi at the dawn of the dark season, when the roads turn perilous and only a few daring merchants still brave them. In this strategy game, you guide your caravan from city to city to buy low, sell high and build your reputation. At its heart lies a clever rondel action system that forces you to plan several moves ahead: gather and produce goods, recruit heroes, manipulate market prices, delve a dungeon for magical items and collect lanterns to light your way through the darkness.

Every game becomes a tense race between gold and glory. Your final score equals the lower of your two values, wealth and fame, forcing you to balance every decision instead of betting everything on a single strategy. Delivering the right goods and the right heroes to the right destinations turns into a delightful puzzle of resource management and optimization.
