The goal is simple: be the last player with houses remaining on the board.

During the game, players use movement cards to guide the giant cats across the playing area. As the cats move, houses can be pushed toward the edge and fall into oblivion. Careful planning, tactical positioning, and clever timing are essential if you hope to preserve your own buildings while eliminating those of your rivals.

La Terre des chats is designed by Gareth Edwards, also behind several cat-themed games such as Cat Days and Litter Tray, with illustrations by Mark Aaron. The game earned him a nomination for Game Designer of the Year - Family Games at the 2026 Play Creators Awards.
