On BoardGameGeek, both the original 2007 version and this new edition rank among the platform's best-rated economic strategy games, a rare feat for a reprint.

Container carries the signature of Franz-Benno Delonge and Thomas Ewert, also behind the city-building game Big City, with Kevin Nesbitt contributing to refine this new edition.
