Welcome to the mosaic workshop! With Azul Kids, budding artisans sit down at their own workbench to choose the design they want to create, then draw colorful, tactile pieces from cheerful bowls before placing them on their board. The first player to complete their mosaic wins the game! Inspired by the beloved Azul, this version built for little hands keeps the fun of tile-drafting without the pressure of the original's penalties: here, drawing from the central bowl never costs any points. Two levels of play let you adjust the challenge to each player's age: Apprentice mode features boards illustrated with a butterfly, a parrot or a flower, completed simply by color, while Master mode divides each board into several small patterns, calling for a bit more planning. The 120 mosaic pieces are sized just right for little hands, perfect for building fine motor skills and color-and-shape recognition while having fun.

Azul Kids is for you if you're looking for a first strategy game to share with a child aged 5 and up, a calm and colorful activity for rainy days, or a fun way to introduce the whole family to tile-drafting before moving on, later, to the original Azul game.

Azul Kids borrows the mechanics of the beloved Azul, crowned Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) in Germany in 2018, here adapted with tactile pieces and two evolving play modes that grow along with young players.

This game is signed by Michael Kiesling, the designer behind the entire Azul series (Azul, Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra, Azul: Summer Pavilion, Azul: Queen's Garden and Azul Duel), paired here with the bright, rounded illustrations of Iris Wincker, created especially for young players.
