With Viticulture: Bordeaux (FR), leave Italy behind to grow your vineyard in the legendary region of Bordeaux through a fully redesigned alternate board. This expansion introduces four complete worker placement seasons, offering smoother pacing and stronger early momentum, especially with 5 or 6 players.

The standout new feature is the expert action, which lets you permanently upgrade an action for your estate. This mechanic strengthens your strategic engine and creates a unique specialization in every game. The trade market and the face-up Vine and Wine Order cards reduce randomness and increase your decision-making control.

At the end of the game, your excess grapes, wine, and coins convert into victory points, rewarding efficient management and true commitment to wine production. The whole package brings more agency, more positive interaction, and depth worthy of a modern expert game.

Fun fact: the back of the Bordeaux board is the original Viticulture board, letting it permanently replace the base game's board in the box without taking up extra space.
