Câlins de méduses Dice - 7D Set

Pistou is a kraken. Eight arms, suckers as big as plates, and one small problem: he’s afraid of the dark. Which is inconvenient when you live at the very bottom of the Fosse aux Murmures, where light never reaches. For years, he borrowed lanterns from passing ships. He always brought them back. The sailors didn’t know that. They screamed anyway.

One evening, bringing a lantern back up, Pistou came across a bloom of jellyfish. Hundreds of them. Blue and purple, glowing softly in the water like night lights. Pistou had never seen anything so beautiful. He did what he always does when he’s happy: he hugged them. All of them. At the same time.

(The Dungeon Master, from behind the screen: jellyfish sting. Pistou has eight arms. I’ll let you do the math. The sailors on three ships heard him yell “OUCH” all night long.)

Pistou let go of the jellyfish. They drifted away, offended. He was all red, all stung, and back in the dark. He cried a little, which you can’t see underwater, but you can feel it. So the jellyfish came back. They’d had an idea.

You can’t hug a jellyfish. But a jellyfish can hug a kraken. Gently. Only with the top of its head, the part that doesn’t sting. Since then, every night, a dozen jellyfish come and snuggle up against Pistou at the bottom of the Fosse aux Murmures. They glow all night. He sleeps like a baby.

(The Dungeon Master, with a smirk: he returned every single lantern. The sailors never understood why they all came back at once, neatly stacked on the Port-Grelot dock, with a little note: “Thanks. Don’t need them anymore. P.”)

One morning, when he woke up, Pistou found seven little dice stuck in his suckers, blue and purple like sleeping jellyfish, with white numbers. The Câlins de méduses dice (“jellyfish hugs”) were born. They’re perfect for creatures of the deep, big softies and players who know that a hug can sting a little sometimes.

In translucent blue and purple acrylic with white numbers, these polyhedral dice are perfect for your Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder or any roleplaying game (RPG). A cuddly dice set. As long as you don’t squeeze too hard.
