You will embody iconic heroes from the Marvel universe who will try to prevent equally famous villains from carrying out their machiavellian plans. With over 350 cards, 100 tokens, five life counters, and plenty of other gear, the Marvel Champions LCG Core Set gives you everything you need to begin your adventure in this universe as a hero. Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Panther or Miss Hulk. Combine your powers with those of other heroes to defeat Rhino the devastating, Klaw the cunning and Ultron the terror!

The game brings all the epic battles that define the Marvel universe to your tabletop, inviting you to choose which hero to play and which heinous villain to face in a storyline that will showcase his treacherous machinations. If you manage to defeat your opponent's plans, you will become true champions!

But it won't be easy. Each villain has their own encounter deck full of minions and tactics, with which they stand ready to knock out the heroes before they can save the world. Can you sustain Rhino's onslaught when he teams up with the fearsome Shocker? Can you resist Klaw's devastating sonic boom long enough to take down this villain? Will you know how to defeat Ultron's drone army? These challenges await you in each scenario along with many other adventures.

As an Evolving Card Game, Marvel Champions JCE is just getting started with this Core Set. Expect to see new expansions released every month and, unlike a trading card game, with no need to track down rare cards since each pack will contain the same complete and identical set. These expansions will allow you to expand your collection with new heroes, scenarios and other items!

In addition, we are pleased to announce that a single Core Box will provide you with a complete deck of cards with everything you need to customize your heroes! Unlike previous JCEs, you won't need to buy a second copy to start playing.
