The island has never been deadlier. This cooperative expansion, Zombicide: Squid Game (FR), drops the Survivors of Zombicide: 2nd Edition right into the heart of the Squid Game phenomenon, where zombies are no longer the only threat lurking around. The masked Guards from the deadly game now join the undead hordes: Workers who chase you relentlessly, Soldiers armed with ranged weapons, and Managers who can trigger an entire wave of threats in an instant. At the center of this macabre arena stands the Front Man, a fearsome Abomination that keeps coming back until destroyed with a Molotov cocktail, alongside Young-hee the Doll, whose gaze switching between green light and red light can flip an entire mission in seconds.

This expansion adds four new double-sided game tiles to explore, including the Playground, the Marble Village, and the Colorful Stairs, each with its own rules that shake up your usual survival instincts. The activation token system lets you play even without six Survivors around the table while keeping the game balanced, giving you tactical control over the order in which threats wake up. Five brand-new narrative missions keep the action flowing, mixing gear hunts in special zones with risk management every turn.

You'll probably love Zombicide: Squid Game if you already own Zombicide: 2nd Edition and are looking for a crossover that pushes your group of Survivors into a whole new kind of tension. This expansion marks the first official collaboration between Zombicide and Netflix's global phenomenon Squid Game, bringing back recognizable elements like the green light-red light mechanic, the Front Man, and the chilling look of the masked Guards. The activation token system it introduces stays playable even solo or with two players, a handy option for groups whose headcount changes from one game night to the next.

This expansion is signed by Toi von Glehn and Rodrigo Sonnesso, who designed all the new missions, threats, and mechanics found in the box. Rodrigo Sonnesso has also worked on several other Zombicide: 2nd Edition expansions, including PariZ, Iron Maiden, and The Boys, all known for adding fresh crossovers to the zombie universe.

This expansion cannot be played on its own: it requires the Zombicide: 2nd Edition (EN) base box to work.
