The rebel princesses are the last line of defense before the kingdom falls into darkness for good. This trick-taking game takes the classic mechanics of Spades and wraps them in a biting theme: each round, you bid on how many hordes you will eliminate, or rather rescue, before laying down your cards. Play solo or in teams, and each princess wields a unique power that changes how you read the table and support your teammate. Four rounds, four special rules: every game reinvents itself, mixing tight math with sudden reversals.

The game is designed by Ted Alspach, also behind Rebel Princess, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, and Suburbia, three very different titles that show his knack for clean, memorable mechanics. The busy, slightly gleeful artwork is by Alfredo Caceres, giving the rebel princesses a look that is both cute and unsettling, a perfect match for the game's tongue-in-cheek zombie tone.
