Zombicide : Gear Up (pré-joué) (EN)

Zombies are flooding the streets, and this time it is your dry-erase marker that will stop them! Zombicide: Gear Up (EN) brings the Zombicide universe to a fast, tense cooperative flip-and-write game. Each player plays a survivor whose dashboard shows four weapons, along with damage, armor and ammo tracks. Every turn, a Turn card reveals which weapon color everyone activates: you then fit the weapon's hit shape (often a polyomino) into a zombie's outline, never overlapping damage you have already dealt.

Meanwhile, the horde advances from the third street toward the first, and every zombie that reaches you costs you health. When a zombie falls, you upgrade one of your weapons: multiple hits, armor gained by covering red stars, and more. After nine turns, the cards are reshuffled for a second round in which a boss enters the fray. If the group takes it down before the end of the ninth turn, you win; if a player is killed, you lose. The solo mode adds Companion cards to lend you a hand.

Zombicide: Gear Up (EN) is for you if you enjoy zombie games with little setup, 30-minute sessions, shape-fitting puzzles and the tension of a cooperative game where everyone has to help each other. It works equally well with a group of up to six or on a solo night.

Fun facts: the game offers difficulty levels from easy to nightmare, six different bosses to face and special zombies such as Bombers, Brutes, Soldiers and Stinkies that force you to adapt your strategy.

Zombicide: Gear Up was designed by Jordy Adan and Marco Portugal, with artwork by Dany Orizio. It is part of the Zombicide series, also known for its big miniature-filled boxes.
