The Whispering Woods are a magical forest watched over by mysterious animals. In this tile-laying game, you play one of these protectors and slowly grow your own patch of forest by placing landscape tiles. Each turn, you collect two tiles to expand your territory or a quest tile that promises points down the line. The real thrill comes when your trails line up: you send your animals on long chained journeys that reward you with goals and bonuses. A single planning mistake can cost you dearly, which makes every decision delicious. The rules are simple, yet the strategy runs deep and feels fresh every game.
