Vollpfosten (pré-joué) (ML)

The games in the L'As des jeux Bazar are pre-played games. They have been inspected by one of our game experts and are certified "Complete." You may find some minor imperfections, such as light wear on the box or on certain game components.

Six wooden posts in the middle of the table, dice that give the orders and reflexes on overdrive: Vollpfosten is a fast and wonderfully silly reaction game. One player rolls the dice, then everyone tries to grab a post as quickly as possible. The white die tells you which post to grab (the one with the most pips, the letter closest to the start of the alphabet, the animal with the most legs...), the orange dice tell you how to grab it (with your non-dominant hand, with the backs of both hands, with your ring finger and pinky...) and the blue and green dice demand an action before you lunge: clap your hands, run around your chair or make contact with a neighbor. Your brain and your reflexes have to work together, and grabbing late doesn't necessarily mean losing the round. Each round you win earns you sticks that you line up in front of you, and the player with the longest line at the end wins the game.

The difficulty adjusts to your group: start with the white die alone to learn, then add the orange, blue and green dice to spice things up. This party game gets everyone laughing from the first round while staying simple to explain.

Vollpfosten is for you if you are looking for a physical, funny party atmosphere game to liven up a night with friends or a family meal, if you enjoy dexterity games where everything is decided in a few seconds, or if you want a game that gets everyone at the table moving and laughing.

The game was designed by Antony Proietti and illustrated by Dennis Lohausen. It is an ideal family board game that slips easily into any game night, thanks to its roughly 20-minute playtime and rules that take about a minute to explain.
