Welcome to the forgotten depths of Tomb, a dungeon crawl board game where every session spawns a different tomb, never the same way twice. In the legendary Goldenaxe Catacombs, you recruit your party of adventurers straight from the Inn before pushing into a tomb that your own opponents have secretly stuffed with traps, monsters, and treasure. Every crypt hides a secret: a chest overflowing with gold, a beast ready to pounce, or a deadly trap set by a mischievous rival? Thanks to its modular setup and huge pool of recruitable characters, this fantasy board game delivers a different adventure every time you play, where the luck of the dice mingles with cunning and memory.

Released in 2008, Tomb belongs to that wave of dungeon exploration games that build a new tomb every session instead of relying on a fixed scenario. The game also integrates with the stand-alone expansion Tomb: Cryptmaster, for groups who want to push the exploration even further.

Tomb was designed by John Zinser, who is also behind the world of the celebrated collectible card game Legend of the Five Rings. Tomb carries that same eye for thematic detail and for a story that emerges from play rather than from a scripted plot.
