Terraforming Mars: The Colonies (FR)

Since the terraforming of Mars, the field of possibilities is no longer confined to a single planet. Now the world has grown. The entire solar system is the new frontier. Companies are expanding into previously inaccessible areas in search of minerals and resources. Building new settlements can greatly increase your wealth and your chances of achieving your ultimate goal: making other wilderness areas habitable. On the moons of Saturn, in the clouds of Jupiter or even on Pluto, colonies are blooming everywhere. The terraforming continues, it's up to you to play your game!

After Venus Next , Hellas & Elysium and Prelude , Terraforming Mars returns with a new extension, Colonies. In this extension of the basic game , you play as a corporation wishing to exploit new spaces in order to establish your own colonies. But that's not all. To earn as many victory points as possible, you will also have to trade with future colonies and collect resources.

Colonies can be played with the basic box but also combined with all the other existing expansions.

The Colonies expansion contains 5 new corporation cards and 49 new project cards, which can be added to those of the other game boxes. During a turn, players must place 5 to 7 colony tiles, among the eleven proposed in the extension.

During the game, in addition to the possible basic actions, players can spend their wealth to build their own colony and benefit from a related bonus. Each player also has the option of spending their resources to deploy a trade fleet to a colony and collect the trade revenue associated with it.

These new cards make the game even more strategic and introduce a commercial logic into this game which was already not lacking in depth.
