On a mysterious island packed with treasure, a dormant volcano suddenly awakens. The ground shakes, the water rises, and the whole island slowly begins to sink into the ocean, tile by tile. In Survive The Island (FR), you control a band of ten adventurers you must lead safely to dry land before everything disappears beneath the waves. Each turn you move your meeples, remove a tile to speed up the flooding, then roll the Creature die to wake the monsters lurking nearby. The back of every Island tile hides an immediate effect or a power you can use later, turning each decision into a small strategic gamble. Some of your adventurers are worth more points than others, so you have to choose who to save first, and decide whether to swim out in the open or hop on a raft to move faster, risking a run-in with a sea serpent, a shark, or a kaiju along the way. On this sinking island, teamwork barely exists: shoving an opponent into the water or wrecking their escape plan is all part of the game, and that is exactly what makes every round as tense as it is hilarious.

Survive The Island is for you if you enjoy family board games that grow more tense with every turn, quick races against time where every second counts, and games where a little betrayal among friends makes all the difference. Fun fact: Survive The Island is actually a modern reissue of the classic Survive: Escape from Atlantis!, originally published in 1982. Designer Julian Courtland-Smith returns more than forty years later with simplified rules, modernized components, and support for up to five players around the table.

The game's colorful visuals come from illustrator Mr. Cuddington, who brings the sea creatures and adventurers to life with a bright, dynamic style perfect for grabbing attention at the table.
