Have you ever heard a giant monster attack two tennis players mid-match during a thunderstorm, while a car pile-up happens right next door? No, not yet? Well, get ready: that is exactly the kind of completely unhinged soundscape waiting for you in Sound Box (FR).

Sound Box is a cooperative party game played over several rounds, guaranteed to trigger non-stop laughter. Each round, one player becomes the Listener: they put on the signature blindfold glasses and must guess, by ear alone, which sounds their teammates are making. The other players, the Soundmakers, each get a Sound card and must act it out loudly, all at the same time, before the sand timer runs out. The result is an explosive cacophony mixing bike bells, pool splashes, superhero battles and more. Once time is up, the Listener tries to match each sound to the right card. The more correct guesses, the further the team advances on the progress track; every mistake pushes the Heart marker closer to defeat. For bigger groups, a second blindfolded role, the Magneto, joins in and pushes the challenge even further.

With rules simple enough to explain in under two minutes and real-time, high-energy pacing, Sound Box (FR) is the perfect party game to liven up a family dinner, an after-work get-together or a spontaneous night with friends. It is the kind of ambiance game that pulls everyone out of their comfort zone, whether you are the shy type or not shy at all about making ridiculous noises in front of guests.

You will probably love Sound Box (FR) if you are looking for an easy game to pull out with a big group, if the idea of imitating a helicopter or a car race mid-round makes you smile, and if you thrive on games where being ridiculous is the whole point. On the other hand, if you prefer quiet, low-key evenings, this is clearly not the box for you.

A fun detail: the 110 Sound cards are double-sided, with different themes on each side, so you can keep the noise fresh without ever repeating the same word twice in one night. The physical sand timer included in the box can also be swapped out for an official companion app, accessible via QR code, which adds new ways to play for groups looking to mix things up.
