Sorry (pré-joué) (ML)

The games in the L'As des jeux Bazar are pre-played games. They have been inspected by one of our game experts and are certified "Complete." You may find some minor imperfections, such as light wear on the box or on certain game components.

In Sorry!, every turn can change everything. You draw a card, move one of your pawns, and take wicked delight in sending an opponent's pawn straight back to Start. The goal: bring your pawns from Start to your Home before anyone else, using the slides on the board to leap ahead and sweep away everything in your path.

This Pachisi-style race game is driven entirely by cards. Each card you draw dictates your move: go forward, back up 4 spaces, swap places with an opponent's pawn using the 11, or play the famous "Sorry!" card to take an opponent's spot. Games are lively, full of reversals, and fortunes can turn in just a round or two. For a more strategic version, you can also deal five cards to each player and choose which one to play each turn.

Sorry! is for you if you want a classic family game that is easy to explain and gets everyone laughing around the table. You will enjoy the tension of friendly revenge and the twists that keep everyone in the game until the end. It is a great fit for kids aged 6 and up who want to play with the grown-ups.

A bit of history: according to BoardGameGeek, Sorry! dates back to 1929 and is a variant of the traditional race game Pachisi / Ludo. It was designed by Paul T. Haskell Jr. and William Henry Storey, and it has earned a lasting place among the classic board games with many editions over the decades.
