Pass the Pandas (EN)
- In stock, ready to ship
In Pass the Pandas, a fast and silly dice game, it is a race: the first player to get rid of all of their dice wins. On your turn, you roll your dice and the faces decide everything. Pandas let you pass dice to other players, water makes dice disappear from the game, and bamboo must be matched or exceeded by the next player. Blank faces do not help you: you keep those dice and roll them again on your next turn. Each player starts with four to six dice depending on the number of players, the rules are explained in a minute and a game lasts about 10 minutes, making it a perfect family board game for playing rematch after rematch.
Pass the Pandas is for you if you like dice games where luck sparks the fun, if you want a small game you can set up in seconds before dinner or during a break, or if you want a simple game from age 6 that kids and adults can play at the same table. The interaction between players, with dice passed on to your neighbours, guarantees laughs and friendly payback.
A little quick game with something to brag about: it won the Creative Child Awards 2017 (Preferred Choice Award). It plays 2 to 5 players and slips easily into a bag for trips, cottages and family dinners.
The game is by Ken Gruhl and Quentin Weir, with illustrations by Peter Campofiori.
