Munchkin Big Box (EN)

Munchkin is a satirical card game based on the clichés and oddities of Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games. Each player starts at level 1, and the winner is the first player to reach level 10. Players can acquire familiar D&D-style character classes throughout the game, which to some extent determine the cards they can play.

There are two types of cards: treasure and encounters. Each turn, current players "knock down the door," drawing an encounter card from the deck. Usually, this will involve fighting a monster. Monsters have their own levels, and players must try to overcome them using the levels, weapons, and powers they've acquired throughout the game—or run away. Other players can choose to help the player or hinder them by adding additional monsters to the encounter. Defeating a monster will usually result in the drawing of treasure cards and the acquisition of levels. Being defeated by a monster results in "bad things" that usually involve the loss of levels and treasure.

The Munchkin Big Box contains the base Munchkin game, six previously released expansions, and fifty new cards, for a total of over 650. Also included are a game board, a side board, standees, Kill-O-Meters, dice, other components needed for the game, and some cosmetic items.
