In Merv: Heart of the Silk Road, players compete for power and wealth in the prosperous city.

Through careful court intrigue, timely donations to the Grand Mosque, and fruitful business deals, players attempt to make the most of this prosperity personally.

Behind the horizon, a threat approaches: the Mongols.

These ruthless conquerors seek to plunder Merv of all her wealth.

Join forces to protect the city or collaborate with these invaders, lest they burn everything you have built...

Each decision is heavy and the consequences of each misstep are disastrous.

The heart of the game lies in its original action choice mechanics and the interweaving of the different actions between them: progressing on one of the tracks brings advantages (even constitutes a prerequisite) to optimize one or more other actions.

Whoever succeeds best in combining these different actions to earn the most victory points will win.
