The village holds its breath: the Black Death has swept through the Middle Ages, and a masked Plague Doctor is hiding among you. Infected is a party game of social deduction that brings five or six players to the table for a round as short as it is electric. Each player secretly receives a stack of cards that decides their fate: stay safe, get vaccinated, or become Infected without even knowing it. Each turn, cards change hands, eyes narrow, and suspicion builds, until a simple roll of the die decides who succumbs to the plague. Rounds fly by in as little as 15 minutes, leaving you just enough time to distrust everyone before jumping straight into another round.

You'll probably love Infected if you're into game nights where nobody really knows who to trust, kind of like a Middle Ages twist on Werewolf. It's the perfect pick to kick off a party night with friends or to fill the gap between two heavier games: quick to explain, quick to play, and always ready for one more round.

Fun fact: Infected first came to life through a crowdfunding campaign before getting its own expansion, Infected: The Carrier, which adds new roles and even lets you take on the plague with up to 12 players by combining two copies. The game belongs to the same family as classic hidden role games like Werewolf and Mafia, but in a lightning-fast version built for game nights that never stop.

The game is designed by Bryan Sloan, with dark, unsettling artwork by Artur Jag bringing the Plague Doctor to life. Published by Black Forest Studio, Infected leans on its atmosphere and pace to stand out.
