Inside its small box hides a surprisingly deep strategic challenge. In Hortis, you gradually grow a thriving orchard by carefully overlapping cards that represent different fruit trees. Every placement affects future harvests and can turn a modest crop into an abundant yield.

As the spiritual successor to Orchard, Hortis introduces additional variety and new strategic possibilities. Clearings create open spaces that change how you build your orchard, while the mischievous squirrel may either help or hinder your plans. The wheelbarrow provides extra opportunities to maximize large harvests when your orchard reaches peak productivity.

Your objective is to overlap matching tree types to generate as much fruit as possible. Every decision matters, and the puzzle evolves throughout the game. Despite its simple rules, Hortis offers impressive depth and excellent replayability thanks to the Recipe challenges printed on the reverse side of the cards.
